Kundalini Yoga Teacher KRI certified, member of IKYTA (International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Association) & Gong Player.

I first got to know Kundalini Yoga back in 1997 in London, UK, where I also did my teacher training. In 2008 I moved back to Germany and have been teaching in Yogazentrum Frankfurt since. I also teach several classes in the Frankfurt Men's and Women's Prisons.

Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness, a ‘technology’ of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation & meditation. In combination with mantras, mudras (hand positions) & bhandas (body locks) Kundalini Yoga gives us the tools to deal with life’s challenges and helps us to experience balance and harmony in mind, body & soul.

I want to share with you the benefits and gifts Kundalini Yoga keeps in store and invite you to be part of this experience.

Life is a 'win-win’ situation and the more winners there are, the more we create the fertile grounds for a happy, healthy and joyful life. Kundalini Yoga will make you discover a ‘new you’, shine your light,  go… grow… glow…

In 2014 I discovered and fell in love with the Gong. I am a certified Meditative Gong Player and a certified White Sound Gong Player (both trainings with Alexander Satya Renner, Munich). Further certification as Klangarbeiter with Jens Zygar, Hamburg. In addition, I attended several seminars with Gongmaster Don Conreaux.

In regular intervals I offer Gong Meditations and Gong Baths in Yogazentrum Frankfurt, Heidestrasse, as well in other venues. Cf. entries in Diary/Veranstaltungskalender or send me email for inclusion in my newsletter.

Let’s dance & gong with life! Time to celebrate...

20 December 2019 / Winter Solstice: Mantras & Gong

The 5th aquarian sutra says: Vibrate the cosmos, and the the cosmos will clear the path... the cosmos will provide. Let’s spring in to action and make waves... yes, let’s rock the boat with mantra, sound & gong waves...
stir things up, shake things loose.....
It’s time to vibrate the cosmos, be there to join in!

After a navel strengthening Kundalini Yoga kriya and a mantra meditation we surrender to the graceful vibes of the gong... for 2 1/2 hours take time out from the hustle & bustle of daily life and let the gong recalibrate you... each tone interacting with the next, weaving an intricate system of sounds... an echo that that ripples through your body and vibrations that physically touch your skin. The gong is not sound, it is re-sound. It's like an archaic form of ultrasound that scans and resounds through you bringing harmony & flow to your whole being.

The sound of the gong creates deep relaxation and healing by reducing tension and releasing blockages. It enables us to relinquish control of the rational thinking mind, thereby breaking up emotional energy patterns that may have engrained in the body. It cuts through the clutter in the unconscious mind bringing us back to our neutral buddhi mind, to point zero, shuniya, where our innate wisdom can be accessed. On a physical plane, it stimulates the glandular system to a balanced functioning and reorganizes & regenerates the nervous system. Nerves like steel keeping stress at bay...

The wide range of tones - from very deep & low to very high overtones has an effect down to the molecular level inducing deep relaxation. Some fall asleep, others reach a trancelike state. Everybody will make their own individual experience... but nobody and nothing can resist the gong... We will start with a navel strengthening Kundalini Yoga kriya, so we can let go & surrender with trust & grace to let the Gong in...

“The gong is very simple. It is an inter-vibratory system. It is the sound of Creativity itself” - Yogi Bhajan
